    I've heard of power of attorney before, but never of a "Durable Power Of Attorney". I reckon that whenever one is thinking of giving someone that sort of power, they really have to stop and think, not only if that person is trustworthy but also if they have the 'smarts' to do the right thing. It's also a pretty big responsibility and that person has to be able to handle it.
